More detailed information:

Final Exam: The final exam will be on Friday, December 13. It will be cumulative.

Quizzes: There will be a quiz on the previous week's topics at the start of class every Tuesday.

Homework and WebWork: For each section there is a set of recommended exercises from the text which will not be collected. Each week there is a WebWork assignment due Monday at 11:59 pm. You may redo the WebWork problems an unlimited number of times before the deadline, except where a limited number of attempts is specifically listed. See the course website for more details on getting started with WebWork.

Groupwork: There will be a few in class assignments exploring deeper aspects of recent topics. You will be encouraged to work in groups and discuss these problems with your classmates. Each group should submit one write up.
